| - I could have sworn I already wrote a review for Baby Kay's, but I can't find it, and it's not in the filtered reviews, so I have no idea what happened to it. So here goes again! I went there for lunch today and had the half shrimp po boy and cup of seafood gumbo. I was really impressed with the flavors of the seafood gumbo, which had crawfish and shrimp. Of course it's not as good as homemade gumbo, but it was still pretty good. And it's pretty hard to mess up a shrimp po boy, but it was served with this really tasty dressing/spread that I used to spread on the inside of the top bun. All in all, a good lunch meal!
I would love to go for their crawfish boils on Wednesday nights, but having lived in Dallas for several years, it would be hard for me to rationalize paying $36 for 4lbs of crawfish, ONE piece of corn and ONE potato. That's just highway robbery. Anyone who has lived in places where the boiled crawfish options are abundant, knows that $9 per pound is just too expensive.
