  • They say this place is haunted by a ghost monkey. The pub is inside the remains of an old fire hall in Inglewood, and legend has it that the fire chief's pet monkey still roams the floor at night causing all sorts of disturbances. I can't say for sure if that's true because I've never had a ghost monkey interfere with my drinking there, but the barkeep seems to think something is going on. Which doesn't seem to matter to the thrones of Inglewood residents who treat the Hose & Hound like the best pub in the area to meet up with a friend for a drink. It has an upstairs that overlooks the main floor that once housed fire trucks and you get a sense right away that the place has a history. It offers all your favourite types of brew and on weekends hosts local live music. If you find yourself in Inglewood, stop in and check it out.
