| - We had a vehicle serviced at this location prior to moving to another state. The vehicle had two belts replaced and the brakes checked. Upon a long drive, 5k miles after the service, a belt broke leaving us stranded in the middle of nowhere. We were lucky enough to have a small mom and pop shop replace the belt but the result of the broken belt was that a pulley was broken on the vehicle and someone attempted to put it back together, most likely the last place to service the vehicle. It's upsetting to see that there were NO notes in the service document stating that a pulley for one of the replaced belt systems may have been faulty or broken and was replaced. Surely, someone would have noticed that it was busted or coming apart when replacing that belt.
An outstanding issue that I have with this location is that if you ask for special oil and pay for it, just make sure that you get what you ask for, especially if you have a luxury vehicle.
I now live in another state and it's not possible to drive there to take advantage of a "guarantee for work". Also, since these two issues happened, I'm not sure if that's something that I would even want to do since I feel like I cannot trust them. As with many mechanic services, you always hope that you've found a long term mechanic that you can trust, unfortunately, I did not find that here and will no longer recommend this chain or location to friends and family still living in town.
**NOTE: when I called to complain, I appreciated that the individual on the phone did not argue with me or treat me disrespectfully. I appreciate that he listened to my rant.**
