I hired Arizona movers to move my husband and I out of our one bedroom (all ready packed) apartment into a home in the same city. First the 2 men took 3 hours to move everything out because they decided to take the elevator from our 2nd floor apartment to the truck every trip and an additional hour to move everything off the truck once my husband and I hustled to help for money sake. When we had spoken to the representative on the phone the whole process shouldn't have been more than 3 hours. While moving they damaged the bottom of our dresser and two of our lamps shades were broken and torn. The couch bed kept falling out because they didn't secure it and I felt I had to keep an eye on how the packaged the truck because the way they were sitting heavy items on fragile labeled things. They even had my large instrument laying on it's strings in the truck (I grabbed that and put it in my car before we left). Once we got to the house because they didn't remove the drawers from the dresses one of the draws feel out while going up the stairs and shattered. Long story short the company didn't want to compensate me for what this was worth. They will credit you something like .60 per a pound which totaled about $30. After going back and forth with them they offered an additional $50. Well that covered the lamps or no lamps at all and maybe 50% for a decent dresser on Craigslist that I would have to find a mover to haul to the house for me.
I wouldn't recommend them at all. ALSO they don't accept credit, check, or debt. Very odd and sketchy. This was never mentioned on the phone when I called and inquired about the payment method. Their movers or at least the ones I had were not professional at all and didn't seem to even care to be gentle with our things. It would be one thing if they were at least quick in their madness but it was costly in more ways than one.
