  • We were out shopping at one of the other stores in the shopping center when we saw Patel Brothers. We are originally from the DC area and are always looking for international grocery stores - they are not as prevalent here in NC. I've never actually been to an Indian only grocery store. We started in the produce section and picked up some apples - they had many varieties all for .99/lb! They had many vegetables that you wouldn't see at your traditional grocery and some regular produce too. We traveled all through the store checking out the different bottles and spices. If you are a spice junkie like myself -- this place is your Mecca. You'll find a lot of spices in large quantities at great prices. The isles are chock full of interesting items. I ended up buying some apples, a very large jar of ghee, and a Crunchie candy (one of our favorites by Cadbury) Excited to visit again!
