rev:text	Recently I saw Dr. Fatima Martinez for a wellness physical, it was my first and last appointment with her. (side note, have gone to AIA for more than 10 years and the wait times are notoriously long, and the "walk in appts" are a joke.....2-3 hours wait). Although she made good eye contact and was pleasant it was the old saying "the lights are on but nobody is home", she didn't get anything right. She wrote a script for labs, a mammogram, and PT; I threw them all away. The lab order was not a full panel thyroid even though I have a thyroid autoimmune disease that is causing some very serious symptoms right now, my primary complaint. I detailed my breast exam history which has included multiple biopsies and I require ultrasounds (as instructed by my Specialist)....she ordered a routine mammogram. She wrote a script for Physical Therapy for a symptom of another autoimmune neurological disorder that I did not complain about and am not currently experiencing. She asked me to extend a limb after I had told her I was having an MRI on that limb due to severe joint pain. And to add insult to injury she felt it necessary to educate me on the availability of lubricants....jeez! I was polite and did not tell this young doctor what I thought of her...eyes glazing over.
