Based on the numerous 5-star reviews on Yelp, I decided to give Brothers Pool a try. They came out initially and took pictures of the pool to provide a quote. I was quoted 100.00 per month for the Salty Bro service. Not too bad and my expectations were pretty high based on all the reviews.
I've taken care of my pool the past 8 years after I tried a couple other pool service companies. Brothers Pool came out and I was assigned to a new technician out of the gate. They scheduled our house near the beginning of their stops due to the heat... 6:30am was the time slot. I unlocked the gate at 6:15am so Brothers Pool can have access. The technician came by around 11:30am and my wife said he was there maybe 5 minutes. I received an email late in the day apologizing that they couldn't service my pool because the gate was locked. I guess they must have come prior to 6:15 when the gate was locked and came back at 11:30.
The next week came and the tech was at our house around 6:30... He was at the house for 15 minutes this time. Note the pictures after the tech left. I did email Tyler at Brothers Pool and he mentioned that it appears the skimmer and leaf baskets were emptied, just not all the way.
I have since cancelled my service after a month and will continue to take care of our pool. With so many pool service providers in the Valley, I was really hoping that these guys were worth the money. I will say that Tyler has been very responsive to my emails.
I hope the best for these guys and maybe they'll use this as a good opportunity to improve.
