Food:
Black sesame soft serve with cookies n cream waffles: soft serve was creamy, but not too sweet. The black sesame was not overpowering at all. The soft serve is a grayish colour with specks of black sesame, wasn't black like I expected. I've had black sesame ice cream before, which had bits of sesame that got stuck in between my teeth. So I appreciated that there wasn't huge pieces of black sesame in this one lol. There were also small chunks of cookies in the waffles, which contrasted with the doughy waffle. It was just the right amount of crispiness and softness.
I think black sesame soft serve was just a two day special, so I don't think it's readily available. There's usually vanilla and matcha. They also have different types of waffles from original to seaweed and lap Cheong (Chinese sausage?).
Atmosphere:
It's in a food court in a strip mall. Nothing impressive about the mall. The shop itself looks bright and clean.
Service:
Not sure if it was because there weren't many people waiting. But it took 5 minutes to make the waffles and the staff brought the ice cream to our table, since we just sat in the food court. I thought that was nice and unexpected.
Final thought: I would go again to try the green tea soft serve and another type of waffles, but the portion isn't too big and still cost 8.50. So it probably won't be something I'll have often.
