| - Was told to be there 15 minutes prior to appointment, but was actually 25 minutes early. Said good morning to the receptionist and received a very curt "insurance card and ID." No hello, no good morning, and certainly not personable. Was very rude going over my paperwork where I missed one item, which took two seconds to fix. Was NOT told the doctor was running behind. After one hour of waiting, I asked how much longer it might be, I was told I was next, but was answered as if I was wrong to inquire. After another 30 minutes, I was still sitting in the waiting room and still not in the back office; while six other patients that came in after me did get called back. I realize they may have been seeing other doctors, but even the people called back prior had still not come out. At this point, I now had been waiting an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time and still have not been called back, let alone seen a doctor. At the 90 minute mark, I gave up and told the receptionist I could not wait any longer. I was very hopeful to find an eye care professional that would be able to help me, but this first appointment was completely unprofessional and discourteous. Pretty sure if they don't respect you or time at the first appointment, it probably won't improve once you're an established patient. Don't think I'll be going back.
