I don't know why we came here, perhaps it's the prestige of Chef Nobu's name. The food is seriously over-priced and there are so many great Japanese places off the strip that charge a small fraction of the price here and the food tastes the same if not better.
We got a Groupon deal: 5 course dinner for 2 people for $99. The portions are tiny, to be expected at a fine dining establishment, so we ordered 4 other dishes to supplement our meal. The 5 courses had 3 shared entrees which included the miso cod and the jalapeno hamachi; both are signature dishes by Chef Nobu. The food was nicely presented, tasted good, high quality ingredients, but really lacking any wow factor. I really do prefer Raku on Spring Mountain better. The service was very attentive and nice throughout the meal and our waiter was super cute which is a huge plus.
It was a nice meal, but even with the Groupon deal, it costed $200+ for the 2 of us and I was still not full. Major $$$$!
