rev:text	I used MomDoc for the entirety of my pregnancy and delivery. I liked that they had the ultrasound tech in the same office and were also able to do 3d ultrasounds. My doctor was attentive and overly safe... she made sure to be on the safe side. Those are the reasons for the 2 stars... I wish we had my doctor at the hospital... we scheduled induction because I was 30, with gestational diabetes, and she was concerned the baby was going to grow too large if we went past the due date. We went to the hospital on her due date and started the induction. We saw many different doctors during the induction because it took 2 days for things to develop enough for me to push. After I received the epidural I still had pain in my right hip. The nurses continually heated up a heat pack and placed it on my hip... After a few rounds of that I developed a burn blister on my pelvic area. I noticed it once I was pushing and felt it with my hand. The nurses had me start pushing before the doctor arrived, that went on for about 2 hours. Then, the doctor finally arrived and they were not able to track my contractions. They continued to have me push for another 2 hours until 7pm when the nurses were going to have to switch shifts. At that point the doctor finally suggested we do a c-section. I did not want to do a c-section but being a new mom I was not aware that pushing for 4 hours was way too much. We went into the operating room and delivered a healthy baby girl! Luckily I had great healthcare through work or we would have been stuck with a bill of over 31,000 for the delivery and 12,000 for all the ultrasounds and doctors visits. This really made me feel like they were trying to rip people off after seeing what my healthcare actually paid them and that the balance was just dropped. During my visits to the doctor not once did they ask if I had supplemental insurance. I did have two policies with Aflac and when I tried to call in to fax the forms for them to fill out they demanded that I come in for an appointment with one of their doctors to have them fill out. I had already done my 2 after birth check ups... so this was a third trip. When I went in there they said they had to charge me $50 for the appointment to fill out the paperwork. I paid in the office. Then about 3 months later they sent a bill for an additional $35 for insurance forms. $50 for 5 minutes of their time then another $35 billed again... Can't Believe how much they nickle and dime you and the level of attention during delivery was very low... I would suggest finding another doctor to take care of you and deliver your child!
