MMM-- So good!!
I asked John S. for places to go while I was in Cleveland, and he suggested going to Honey Hut. So when my friends and I had some time on Saturday night, I insisted we try Honey Hut. When we got there around 9pm, there were a lot of people lined up for ice cream! I asked one of the workers what is the most popular flavor, and she said Honey Pecan. That settled it-- I ordered Honey Pecan in a cone. For $2.35, you get two big scoops of ice cream! The ice cream was sweet, creamy and decadent, with lots of big pecan halves. They use honey instead of sugar, and you can tell. They probably use whole milk and tons of cream, but hey-- it tastes delicious! You could tell it was quality ice cream. If Honey Hut was in California, I know I'd gain 20 pounds or so.
Big props to John S. for the recommendation!
