rev:text	My wife and I visit family in Scottsdale several times a year and always enjoy checking out the latest new restaurants. In short: FnB is the best meal we have had so far this year, and perhaps in all our years o f visiting Scottsdale. If you live in the area and enjoy good food, you must check this out. We were there wtih another couple and having four of us enabled us to taste a wider variety of dishes. Every single dish was excellent! We had a selection of appetizers: Spigarello, shaved fennel / citrus salad, braised leeks with mozarella, romanescu all of which were tremendous. Nicely prepared, delicate flavors, beautifully presented. Our main courses were also wonderful: roasted jidori chicken, trout, flat iron steak. Portions were good, not over the top, and a good value. The steak was perfectly cooked medium / rare, the chicken was crispy as promised, the trout was the best my brother ever had. We had a nice Arizona red wine (who knew?) recommended by Pavle the owner who was our server. Deserts were inspired and a perfect finish to the meal. We shared chocolate sourdough bread pudding with cherries and apple gingerbread clafoutis that my wife loved. Pavle also brought a taste of the butterscotch pudding which sounded ordinary but was phenomenal with the coffee. If I sound impressed with the food, I was. Everyone loved the dinner. It was absolutely one of the best meals I have had ever. Service was attentive and thoughtful without being overbearing. Ambiance and decor was good. Music not too loud, so you could have a conversation without having to strain. FnB has been in operations only for a couple of months, but this is destined to be one of Scottsdales best restaurants. It's not a big place, so I recommend making reservations as it will only get more popular over time. Best of all, the prices are quite reasonable and the staff is there to make you comfortable. If you want something prepared a bit different they'll do their best to take care of you. Let them know you saw this review on Yelp and maybe you'll get a little taste of something extra also! I wish there were more restaurants with this quality of food and service. --Zack
