  • I took my dog (who has been a patient at Blue Cross Veterinary Clinic for more than 10 years) into the office when it opened at 0700. My dog had a very swollen front leg with a cyst or hematoma which had burst in the car enroute this morning. Upon entering the office in what I considered an emergency situation (an open, bleeding wound), I was told that we couldn't be seen until Wednesday. They did, however, tell us we could sit in the waiting room to see if there was an opening during the day today. There was no attempt made to show concern for my dog. It was not even offered that she could be taken to an exam room, cleaned, assessed or made to feel comfortable. I called another vet closer to my home, and they saw her immediately. The lack of concern, care and humanity shown by the office staff at Blue Cross Veterinary Clinic this morning was disgusting and disturbing. Use them at your own risk. I'm done!
