We have been going to Flemings since they opened in Peoria. The experience and the food used to be incredible. Over the last 18 months however they have fallen off a cliff. Tonight was probably the last time we will be there. They are very aware their happy hour is one of the busiest times they have yet the seating area is very limited. In the past I have seen them open up the back area to seating. We received a gift card from the management for a less-than-stellar experience on our last occasion and tonight they would not accept that card and made us wait in the waiting area for an open table which never occurred. The less than Stellar experience occurred during a wine pairing which the food was not only cold but the wine was late on every course. Two hours after leaving we received a phone call asking if we had paid our bill. This is just atrocious and I believe we are finally finished with trying to trust that Fleming's will improve on these experiences. Very very very poor management and chef experience. By the way the dining room was empty except for about 3 tables. I don't know if it is a management issue however whoever is running the restaurant certainly does not know what it is they are doing.
