  • Mini of LV doesn't stand by what they initially promise/guarantee you. They bring you in after you have already agreed on a contract only to change it , I went to Mini of Las Vegas on July 4, 2016 and stayed there for over 7 hours negotiating on specific monthly payments and APR% that I was comfortable with financially. I purchased a 2012 Nissan Altima, I gave $1,500.00 for down payment. With my monthly payments at $250.01 and my APR at 6.69% for 60 months. I than received a call from Kevin Rucker on 7/6/16 stating He just got my loan approved by BMW ((after running my credit through every single finance company and knocking down be credit points)) however the payments and APR would be different and since there is a change he needed me to come in to the location to sign some more "paperwork". When I arrived the paperwork he needed me to sign was a new contract, the new payments would be $250.63 for 66 months and a 9.84% APR. I was not happy with this rate however I already had the vehicle in my possession. When I signed the new contract I realized after that it was back dated 7/4/16 (Original date of sale/contract). On 7/28/16 I got a call from Sal (salesman) My breaks have been squeaking and making noise as if they are no good so when the sales person contacted me to see how the car is doing, I informed him the breaks have been squeezing since I brought it home and he stated it's probably because they are new and to give it some time to break them in. I informed him I also have not yet received the registration paperwork and the information on where to send my car payments and he said to just be patient and wait for it and they will call me when it is ready. I let him know I didn't want to be late on my first car payment. On Friday 7/29/16 I received another call from Kevin Rucker stating that he just got informed BMW wouldn't agree to the contract at a 66 month loan so my payments would be adjusted higher then originally agreed upon and asked me if I could go into the location once again to sign paperwork. I told him I just finished working a 14 hour shift and I would not be able to go in and I needed to know what the new rates would be before I go in and agree to ANYTHING. Kevin stated he didn't know what the new rates were since he didn't have them in front of him however he would have his manager contact me with them. As of 8/2/16 I STILL had not yet to receive a call, However they withdrew my $1,500.00 down payment from my bank account. My temporary dealer registration expired 8/3/16 and the dealer had yet to contact me in regards to picking up the paperwork to take to the DMV to get the vehicle registered into my name, however I went to the DMV and they assisted me with getting the information I needed to register the car into my name (no thanks to Mini). After having the car for 13 days, my battery died and the car wouldn't start. When I contacted the dealership they where closed since it was a Sunday. I called the sales person on his cell phone and he told me there wasn't anything that can be done. I was without my new car for 2 days, I had to borrow jumper cables to start the car, I took it to Auto Zone so they can test the battery and they confirmed the battery was no good. I took it back to the dealer and I spoke to the manager Bob and he had it replaced as I waited for 2 hours. I would highly suggest anyone who is planning to go to Mini of Las Vegas to do their homework first on them. They have an "F" rating with the BBB "Better Business Bureau". They are not BBB Accredited and have horrible reviews with them including mine. Update: I was called in AGAIN to sign a new contract for different rates. My breaks have STILL NOT BEEN FIXED and I have STILL not received a call from them to fix this issue. As I'm sure there will be a follow up "standard generated" comment below from them stating for me to call and speak with a manager. (That has not helped yet, so how about YOU have a manager call me!) my name is attached to this review so it shouldn't be to hard to figure out my information since I bought my car from there...
