  • My boyfriend and I just returned from our first trip to Vegas. We received two free Nite Tours vouchers with our hotel booking. It was relatively easy to call and set up the tour, although when we checked in I'm pretty sure they didn't have our reservation on file because I saw our tour guide, Seth, write down our names, but it was no big deal. We went on a Tuesday night. We got 2 for 1 drinks at Lavo Lounge, our meet-up spot, which was nice. Meet-up time was 9:30pm, but we didn't actually leave Lavo Lounge until 10:50pm, so all of that time was pretty unnecessary. First club was Lavo.... it was dead. There was no one dancing because the club was pretty empty, so it was fairly lame. This isn't the fault of Nite Tours, granted, but after we'd spent over an hour in the Lounge, we were ready for some excitement. Then we got on board the party bus and rode to 1-OAK at Mirage. The party bus was fun, and they provided free drinks (crappy beer, girly drinks, and cheap champagne). I've been on other party buses (in the DC area, and no free drinks are given, so this was a surprise for us, and we were grateful). 1-OAK was the best club for sure. Then we boarded the bus and rode to Pure. Hated this club. It was super crowded, and by the time we got there everyone was sloppy wasted. My boyfriend and I are 30, and past our sloppy wasted days, so it was a turnoff, and the music wasn't great either. From here, we left. Seth, our tour guide, was great and lively and really made sure everyone was having a great time. However, I didn't like the way he pitched to us the tipping policy. He basically said "I work hard for my tips, and I work off of tips only, and $15-$20 per person is typical. Don't hand me any $5s or $1s." Was planning to tip him anyway, but the aggressive approach was a turn-off. Overall, I think it's a fun way to see a few different clubs in Vegas for relatively cheap (our tour was free, so it was a great deal for us... but I probably wouldn't spend full price). We didn't have to wait at any of the clubs, didn't have to pay cover fees, and also got the free drinks on the bus.
