  • Congratulations DQ. You managed to prove to me that you have not changed for the better. I should have known but I foolishly bought into your TV ads. This place is run-down and the front windows are dirty. In spite of my initial reaction, I went ahead and order the chicken strips with fries and gravy. After a 15 minute wait, I was handed a tray with the food in a paper basket. The breading was rock hard which means that the chicken was overcooked in the deep fryer. The fries were nothing special and the gravy was also mediocre. The chicken strips were so hot, I had to gingerly break them apart and allow them to cool so I did not burn my mouth. Needless to say, I will never return to this location nor to any other DQ location. I truly wonder why this company has not gone out of business. Presumably....it is because they have no real competition for their prime product which is iced milk. Thankfully there is plenty of alternatives in the burger/fries/coke business.
