| - Firkin on Harbour is a great alternative to the other bars in the area. It's certainly much better than the Harbour Sports Grille which it replaced.
Service was pretty good and not overly pushy with specials. There's usually a 5 dollar alcoholic beverage on a particular day in addition to some sort of food deal.
Food-wise, it was pretty good but somewhat standard pub fare. Burgers, fries, curry, sandwiches are all well represented here.
Decor-wise, lots of seating, some booths, some tables, lots of British/English decor
There's a lot of screens around of varying sizes, I didn't have much trouble seeing them, but I also wasn't there to watch a game that day.
Update: Patio is open! Nestled in a courtyard with the sounds of the nearby rumbling waterfall (which is really just a condo installation), the whooshing waterfall noises help provide some added sound therapy; its soothing sounds help temper emotions if your favourite sports team loses when you're watching the game outdoors.
My main complaint about the patio is that the umbrellas are all on the periphery. If you go during the day and get seated in the middle, your skin, along with your food, may become cooked.
