| - I'm not sure why I haven't left a review here yet, but having been pierced here three times already, I'd say I'm long overdue.
This shop is filled with many things, from (but not limited to) Shisha tobacco, to a variety of incense sticks, to piercing aftercare and body jewelry.
I first came here to get my belly button pierced In 2011, and was pierced by Jimmy. Easy-peasy lemon-squeezy, no pain, no discomfort, it was quick.
Several months later my belly button piercing got (I think) infected and painful so I removed it. I then went back in 2015 to repierce my belly button. I have heard that piercing over scar tissue is painful, but once again, Jimmy was my guy, and it was quick & painless. I love it!
A couple months later, still in the healing process the ball top got unscrewed from the jewelry and the jewelry half slid out overnight and when I woke up, the top of hole had healed over and I was unable to put the jewelry back in. I then decided I have bad luck with piercings other than my ears, sadly pulled it out, and let it go.
Fast forward to September 2016, I would have gone to Jungle Zone to pierce my nose but a friend who got her nose pierced there, was unhappy with the results, feeling that the ring was too low, and re-pierced it elsewhere. She told me to go where she went, and so I did. Bad move. Baaaad move.
I pierced my nose where she went. Did not get that same friendly welcome, or good vibes about the place. And let's just say, the customer service at the other place is boo boo and my nose piercing has since been removed.
And now here we are! For $45 (the diamond stud + piercing service) I pierced my nose again, after missing it so badly, at Jungle zone, and this time, my piercer was Jordan Black.
He pierced the exact spot I had done previously, smooth like butter. Seriously. Check out the video. I didn't even feel it. He normally doesn't allow video recording but let me record mine.
Jordan, who told me he has been piercing for 3 guests, was very patient, informative, assisting, and knowledgeable at his craft. I appreciate the time he spent with me explaining various cleaning methods, products to use, and also providing me a piece of paper listing the after care process and what to expect. It also has his IG if you need to DM him for any questions or concerns. (Posted as well) (as of right now, I did DM him in regards to my nose piercing as well as commented on a photo to inform him I DM'd. It has since been 2 days without a response, but I will try again if needed.)
Jordan also does 1 free change out for if/when you decide to change from a stud to a hoop or something (definitely taking advantage of that. The last time, I did it on my own and spent 30 minute sitting on my sink trying to figure it out! Ouch ) you buy the jewelry, he does the change out. He also stated that if you're not happy with the spot that the stud is placed, he will gladly re-pierce it (not sure how long after though.)
I recommend that anyone who wants to get a piercing and have the best customer service should go to Jungle Zone!
