  • This just isn't my type of place. We had sections of our dining halls set up to be something like this and I enjoyed those better. Create your own stir fry, create your own pasta, create your own burrito. It all just makes more sense to me when it's in a college dining hall. But to go out and pay for someone to cook something that I made up and that might not taste so delicious seems silly. At least at the dining hall, I could toss my mistake and come back for more without regret. (Granted, you could probably get away with that here, but I'd feel too bad.) I'd rather go somewhere with a chef that puts together some masterpiece with flavors that are going to mix well. I'm no chef and I don't claim to be; I think everything sounds good, then I can't make up my mind, then things end up making me lose my appetite! Plus, all of the meats sitting out in jiggly bowls makes me feel weird.
