  • I've been wanting to try this place after reading a lot of good reviews on Yelp and LV Citylife. My cousins decided for me, this was a good place to meet up a old acquaintance they have not seen in a long time. This place is decorated simply with a wooden bar really dominates the place. Got here about 8pm, luckily my cousin snagged a table since the place filled up fast. The menu here is pretty simple, ramen, sides, rice dishes and thats about it. I had the Tonkatsu with the premium green onions and the four of us split orders of Gyoza, Kim Che fried rice, large order of Pork Belly over rice and the Fish Eggs over rice (the name escapes me). Everything was very delicious. About the best I've had in a while including places on Sawtelle Blvd in West LA, known for its large Japanese population. Pros: Ramen was a nice al-dente with good chew, broth was very savory it definitely had that umami kick to it. Service was quick. Cons: The Gyoza skin was a little too burned on bottom and under cooked on top. Limited seating could be a future PITA.
