  • As with many other people, these guys were sent out by my home warranty company to repair a leak I noticed coming from my pool equipment. The repairman did show up on time. He looked at the equipment for about 5 seconds and said it needed to be replaced. The problem is a minor leak. He started explaining that the PVC piping is oval shaped and they don't make that kind anymore. I wasn't aware that standard Schedule 40 PVC piping is no longer being manufactured (it actually is). I said it's a simple leak, the repairman then started cursing at me in Spanish (I understand Spanish). I called the warranty company to ask that another repair company be sent out to do the repair.
