  • I really like Dr. Wong a lot, but the cost of the frames and the hidden fees are very unbecoming. I wanted a regular, basic exam. I told them I wanted glasses and did not ask for their contact fitting fee. The doctor placed me in Acuvue Oasys and I told them they were not comfortable and that I would stick to my Acuvue 2 contact lenses, which I have had for over ten years. I was not aware this was a "fitting fee!" I called in to get an explanation and the girl was new and could not help me understand. My wife was not charged a fitting fee and she did an exam right after me. I wanted glasses, but I had already spent sixty for a fitting fee and their frames were over a hundred dollars more than the normal pricing at other eye care exam offices. A guy came in to get his contacts and left upset because he was paying the same price for an eight pack of contact lenses that he was for a twelve. That should have been a sign right there. The only reason I give it two stars is because Dr. Wong seemed to be a generally caring optometrist... Other than that, I will not waste my time or money to go there again.
