| - Paid for a holiday special of $150 the second week of December for an appointment in January for my birthday. The appointment was canceled an hour before I was scheduled to show up on her end. It's been 10 days and I still have not received my refund. Very bad communication. Her work looks great, but I've read bad expierences of canceled appointments and untimely refunds. To make matters worse, she said she would look into my refund, but then stoppped communicating with me. She's a VERY NICE person, but could really use more professionalism as a business.
Update: On the 10th day, I sent her a message to tell her I filed a complaint with the BBB, and she got upset telling me that her cousin passed away and she's been coping, and that's why she hasn't responded to my messages. However, every negative review I've read, she claims a family emergency. Anyway, she she said she can't believe people go to give negative feedback without taking into consideration that she has a personal life. If she has that many "family emergencies" she should get an assistant to notify that her business is shut down. How was I supposed to know? She offered to stop the "refund process with the merchant service company" (AKA she never processed it to begin with), and I can come to the studio to pick up my refund in cash. When I got there, she was working on someone, but she didn't acknowledge me at all. Her DAUGHTER was the one to give me the money, and she only gave me $50. When I said, "This is only $50 and I paid $150" that's when the lady finally said something to me and replied, "$150??" Yeah... I'm not going to be writing you every day for $50. Anyway, so she motioned for her daughter to give me the $100 and once again didn't say anything to me. I DO NOT recommend this company to ANYONE.
