  • I was really not impressed. I felt like it was a sales pitch from the get go. First of all like everyone I am busy. They have you do a consult and then come back to go over xrays to see if he can help you. My appointment was over a week out and I was in considerable pain to begin with. I came back and had to watch another video on the ipad. They seem to have you do this every time. I also had what I felt was a sales pitch when he went over the xrays. He wanted me to explain them to him. It just aggravated me. Clearly I know nothing about backs, that is why I was seeking some care. Then once I had been adequately schooled it came to what I knew was waiting behind the sales pitch: a significant cost. I got a huge bill for what would be 3 months of service but it was reduced if I signed on for today. He did an adjustment and I rested then he sent me to reception. A psychotically cheerful person greeted me and wanted to talk money. She said I was mistaken about the price that the doctor had given me. I asked if we could bring him back to clarify what he had told me. They said he was gone already. Unless he had flying powers and some kind of magical airplane there is no way he was gone already. It had been less than a minute. When I said I could not afford the care and would not be signing up they told me to take out a bigger line of credit or use my credit card for points. They just kept pushing, it was unreal! U know my budget and considering I just lost 33% of my income I know I can't afford $500 a month on a chiropractor and that's the discounted rate. I have never felt so slimey after leaving a medical office. I felt myself start taking steps backwards to separate myself. The false cheerfulness of the office staff was really offensive to me. It made me never want to go back. On a side note the doctor said to me: god puts us together perfect and then we mess ourselves up. Just an fyi, that's creepy. The doctor did call to apologize about the miscommunication about price but my overall feeling just wasn't good. I felt like his staff called me a liar and was refusing to get clarification on a major expense.
