I love this place. Such an intense workout. Nice facilities. Interesting workout concept: half treadmill half weights on the floor. I can feel myself getting stronger the more I go.
The women's change room is kinda small. Only one bench to sit on and only one girl and all her bags can fit at a time. They have nice bath/shower products that always seem to be adequately stocked. Eucalyptus towels after your workout and sweat bags for your gross workout gear after. They also have a clothing store for cool Barry's swag.
The motto on the wall is "work out hard and be nice to each other" which is nice.
The lighting is dark and red and the beats are nice and loud and motivate you to push yourself. The atmosphere is kinda like a club. You can lose yourself and push hard in that atmosphere. Super effective. I think the lighting and sound are perfect.
Michelle is an awesome instructor that gets you motivated. She remembers all her students' names which makes you feel welcome. I've tried 3 different instructors here. They will all, at some point, make you run backwards and sideways on the treadmill so try not to die.
They have some crazy challenge if you do 16 classes in 30 days you get an exclusive "face yourself" sweatshirt. An expensive challenge for a sweatshirt but I'm curious to try it next time it happens--if I feel this great going 1-2 times per week I wonder how great I would feel if I did/survived 16 workouts in 30 days!
100% recommended. Currently my favourite place and I've tried quite a few.
