I was completely unsatisfied with the service I received from the hospital/vet and the Wellness Program. On my last visit, my dog had a minor scratch on his face and the vet asked to take a closer look. I thought she would just comb carefully through his hair to look at it. The cut was small and was already healing and I was not concerned about it. Instead, she took him in the back room and brought him out with half of his face shaved off. I was very upset because he is meant to have long hair on his face and he looked terrible. They never asked if they could shave him and to add insult to injury they charged me for the service. The worst part is that the close shave made my dog's face itchy and he scratched the cut wide open once we got home. All the hospital offered to do was sell me a $100 bottle of steroid cream to heal a wound they made worse. I was so upset that I told them I would never return.
Then, over a year later I received an email confirming a wellness appointment I never even set. When I called to find out about it they said it was because we were still enrolled in the Wellness Plan. I had been told by the hospital staff when I registered that it would NOT auto-renew only to find out it does. The hospital only referred me to an 800 number and I had to wait on hold for 30 minutes to speak with a representative. They refused to refund the months I paid for during the auto-renew year and would only cancel my program moving forward.
Clearly, the hospital staff and the Wellness program only care about my money, not myself or my dog. I will never return and am so sorry I ever went there in the first place.
