  • Expensive. Almost $200 to replace a plastic gear in the opener. I replaced this $5 part myself in about an hour five years ago - I'd never worked on a garage door before. Spring replacement also very high. Update: Was contacted by service man and price came down significantly because of my Yelp review. I feel confident that the installer/repaiman knew what he was doing and did a quality job, even gave me new rollers! No complaints about the quality of service. Knocked off one star because I just wish a reasonable price was given the first time.
