  • I purchased a groupon for her brazilian wax service because of all the positive reviews. It was my first experience and will be my last thanks to her terrible technique and lack of professionalism. First off, the location had been changed at the last minute...not a big deal. When I arrived at the salon I was kept waiting for about 15 minutes. All the while listening to other employees behind the counter talking about personal things and dropping "f" bombs like crazy. When she did come out to get me, she didn't even bother to introduce herself. I was taken to a less than appealing room to begin my service (walls were marked up, a folding chair to set my things on...just not very sanitary looking). I told her I was extremely nervous as it was my first time, but she seemed less than empathetic. As she ripped away and tweezed at the hair for 40 minutes, I had tears rolling down my face. It was one of the most painful things I had ever endured. She told me that I had some light pin point bleeding and bruising and to ice and take an "antihistamine." I work in the medical field and I believe she meant anti inflammatory. I left in complete disbelief that she had been doing this for 7 years and had so many positive reviews. I later discovered upon inspection that she left quite a bit of hair and a big laceration to my inner labia. I would never wish this torture on my worst enemy. Do not make the same mistake I made.
