This is a review of the Classic Mazda service department. I have a Mazda CX9 and was having trouble with the headlight going on and off so I assumed it was an issue with the wire. I made an appointment to have it looked at. When I got there I was made to sign a sheet that I agreed to pay a minimal $100 "diagnostic" fee even though I already knew what was wrong! I asked if this fee would be applied to the repair and they said no. Approximately one HOUR after my scheduled appointment they finally pulled my car back and popped the hood. I gave them 5 minutes and then walked back to ask what they found. They said ,"we've been looking for you," Which was a lie because I was standing right inside the waiting room door. They told me it was the socket and wire part that would need changed but that they needed to order it in and quoted me an ADDITIONAL $200+! I went home and called autozone who had the part in stock for $8 and my husband changed it in 15 minutes. Seems to me these people are WAY overcharging. BEWARE!
