  • If I could give this airport a -5 star rating I would. Never ever fly from Terminal 1 it's an absolute mess. 10 years ago the terminal ran like a well oiled machine now they purposely create bottlenecks and mazes around the airport and have you walk literally around the airport to control extremely long lines rather than actually hiring more people to control the overflowing capacity. Their bottlenecks does nothing but makes people who need to make an international flight out of Toronto with severely limited time to get from ticketing to the gate on time. I got there 3 hours before my international flight and I went from line to line throughout 3 hours. By the time I was through security I was sprinting to my gate and I was the last one on the plane. And the ticketing agents at the gate had the audacity to complain why I was so late. I was extremely close to giving them a piece of my mind. They're crappy airport is what made me late. I was stuck in security for over an hour. And on top of that parking fees at this airport is atrocious. No one should be paying those kind of prices for simple parking. It's atrocious we let this happen in a major Canadian Airport. Terrible design, terrible management, terrible customer service people, terrible prices, terrible parking, terrible everything. Next time I'll just fly out of Buffalo.
