| - In 17 years I've been to many Starbucks and have always been greeted by friendly, helpful people. A smile and a "Good morning" is a wonderful greeting when you walk into Starbucks. I have to say, as a repeat customer for years, that the location at Chandler and Dobson I've rarely been greeted warmly. In business, that trickles down from the manager to their employees. I've spent a lot of money there. The manager, Dominic, knows my name and never ever has he smiled or said, "Good morning, Linda!" He'll write my name on the cup so I know he knows my name. It's good PR, keeps you coming back, etc. There are plenty of other Starbucks' locations where the people are friendly that would appreciate my business. Smile. Be friendly. Be helpful. Say "Thank you" after each customer pays $4-5 for at least a Tall. And when people exit the Starbucks, why not holler "Have a good day?" Customer-service is key.
