| - Some of the worst dining experiences I've ever had in my life, all food related. The employees have been nothing but friendly, and the owner is exceptional. On multiple occasions I have gone for specific menu items, and on just as many occasions, they have been out of them, even though they have been and continue to be advertised on their in store menu (beef chili). In more than one experience, the special has been a complete disappointment. A chicken sandwich with a side of chips ($10+ with tax) left me with a take out order of a piece of chicken on a sandwich bun with a piece of lettuce. The bag felt light, so I turned around and opened the container. They completely forgot the chips. I brought the order back, and after a literal 20 minute wait for a side order of chips, they were finally added. In addition, the chicken sandwich was remade with ACTUAL food items included (bacon, tomato). The chips were soggy and disgusting, however. In addition, special orders are not freshly made! I had a fish sandwich with a side of macaroni, and the macaroni came in a plastic container that was clearly warmed in a microwave (warm on outside, refrigerator-cold on inside). Special prices are entirely too high for the quantity and quality of the food served. Again, greater than $10 for soggy, un-fresh fries and a mediocre chicken sandwich. I could go on, and after typing this I wonder to myself why I continue to go back, and the answer is probably because of the business's proximity to my place of work.
