  • I bought a bottle of La Base Pro from Lancome at Macy's in Minnesota 2 weeks ago. I have been traveling to San Francisco and I finally came home to Las Vegas. I got the chance to open my Lancome box, and it has been used and the whole bottle is empty! I was surprised I was shocked I took my receipt and took it over to Macy's and explained the situation to the Lancome make up associate. The Macy's Lancôme associate told me that although she believe me but I must take the make up and return it to the Macy's in Minnesota! That was very unreasonable! I asked her to get the manager so that I can explain the situation. She got the manager they were whispering and were talking for a long long time, finally the manager came over and told me that normally they would ask you to go back to the store to return the bottle of empty make up. Thankfully, The manager has agreed to exchange the empty bottle that I bought in Minnesota for a brand-new bottle!! This has never happened to me in the past 30 years that I have been buying make up. I am writing this review to let you ladies be aware when you purchase a make up next time, the box may look brand-new and beautiful, please open the box and check for your self to see if it is a brand-new make up and not used empty bottle. And I am so glad that the Macy's Lancome associate did not accused me of lying. I would have been devastated if the Macy's manager did not allow me to make the exchange. I would have been out of $42 plus tax. So, thank you Macy's at Meadows Mall!
