My team and I came to Calgary on a training trip. We stayed here and had a pretty good experience...especially loving the roof top hottubs. That was a total win, especially after a long drive from Edmonton and then a 4 hour training. There was no snacks or drinks in the mini fridge like I had read in other reviews. There was also no welcome drink like had been promised. Whatever. The lights under the bed were cool. Liked the TV in the bathroom too. I watched it while I was in the shower. The shower is a bit tricky to figure out but there is an instruction manual.
The worst part of our visit was the supper in the restaurant. The server woman was quite rude and gave us attitude through our whole meal. It was quite extraordinary. We actually had to walk to her and ask her for the bill several times, as she was busy chatting with co-workers. We ended up late for our training. If we weren't in a hurry we wouldn't have taken our breakfast there...but circumstances were that we had to eat there. The service was slightly better, but the food ended up being quite bland. The portion size was very small and didn't make sense.
I would stay at the Hotel Clique again but I would not go to the restaurant.
