  • I appreciate good coffee, friendly people and free smiles. Public works has perfected all three. Getting coffee at the big chain in the valley can be disheartening. Some locations are friendly, while others make me feel very unwelcome, almost as if I am bothering them. So, I mostly take my business elsewhere. During my search of good coffee and friendly folks, I came across Public Works. My husband and I have been a few times and each time seems to be better than the last. We are greeted warmly with smiles and a sincere and polite chat. I appreciate it!!! It makes my day better! My favorite drink to order as of the writing of this review is a large hot soy dark chocolate mocha. IT IS AMAZING. It is one of the best mochas I have ever had! I also like to add a scone or quiche to my order, both of which are yummy as well. The indoor seating is relaxed and comfortable, with music playing softly. They have a good selection of drinks and seem willing to accommodate any special requests. Public Works also has decaf and milk alternatives, which I appreciate. Enjoy... the friendly folks that appreciate your business!
