After walking out of another chain hair cut place that was supposedly tailored to men disappointed - I said enough is enough. Boy am I glad I rolled the dice on this place. It's tucked back deep in the shopping center that contains Citizens bank, Dukes, and Max and Ermas. Very cool old school style shop, and Tom is extremely friendly and talented. The shop itself is small and contains two restored old-school barber chairs circa 1950s/60s. He actually took the time and paid attention to details - as many of you may know, details definitely make the difference. At the end of the haircut, I was surprised when he lathered my neck with warm shaving cream and shaved my neck with a straight blade razor - excellent touch. He then followed that up with wiping down my neck and steaming my head with a hot towel. Just FINALLY being able to get a great quality haircut would have earned 5 stars, let alone all the little touches that made this such a great experience. The low cost was definitely icing on the cake - just be sure to bring cash instead of card. There is a citizens bank right out front, so that made it easy as I did not know this.
