| - We saw HIM concert here last night. We were there 6 hrs prior to the doors opening as it was a general admission show and we wanted a good location on the mezzanine. Then, they were 30 min late opening the doors and they just opened a line for the mezzanine and only told a few people at the back of the line that they could go up there so all of us that had been there for hours, got put behind them!! There was a vip area there roped off that had chairs, but only 8, yes 8 chairs for the remaining mezzanine. Luckily we got two of them and our view was amazing. The problem is, the acoustics were AwFUL!! The instruments were soooo loud and the vocal mic was so low. Could barely hear the singer and he had to keep motioning to the sound guys to turn his mic up. Then, it was crackly and had the worst feed back squeal. He looked unhappy, as he had to fight the sound guys all night. We have seen the band before and he is super fun and personable onstage, but he looked very frustrated last night. The parking as great, but only room for about 20 cars. Luckily, we were there early and got a great spot. Will never waste the money to see another show there due to the sound. It's a metal and concrete building with no ceiling insulation and exposed metal beams. Very stylish, pretty place but not built for live music.
Also, three fights in the floor area and security never really intervened. Scary!
