BAD DEALERSHIP! I made a deposit on a car that we agreed on a price to be swapped with out of town dealer, and they were charging me the $495 shipping cost which I agreed on out of the long and frustrating negotiations! My bad was agreeing on a deposit coz I trusted the salesman even though he hasn't secured an agreement with the prospective other dealer on the swap. A day after and I was the one who called the salesman around 11:00 am coz I haven't heard since 4pm the day before. Then the disappointment begins when he says they're trying to get me a lower MSRP car , lower trimmed vehicle, meaning less options and that I would have to pay for them additionally if I want them installed by their dealership! The salesman said he didn't get a response from the other dealer so he was to get me a different lower priced vehicle from others! This sounds like typical bait and switch just to get more profits for the dealership and for himself! It's just plain ridiculous that dealerships cannot swap cars as they made it appear when they do it all the time! And I was even paying the shipping! And I even left my clunker trade in so I have to ask a family again to give me a ride to get it back. What a headache dealing with the manager and I cannot imagine being a car salesman and everyday pulling tricks on others! Their sales style is old tricks of dealing with a salesman then asking the manager for final approval. I would rather deal directly with Internet manager who makes decisions promptly! Stay away if you value your time!!!
UPDATE : 04/26/17
Brought RAV4 for just an oil change that took 1 1/2 hours even with appointment! The guy who handed me the vehicle back after service had the radio so loud when I turned it off before service. The AC was also full blast at 9 am! This is just plain rudeness to be playing with people's cars!
