  • Given that there aren't many other Korean restaurants to choose from in Charlotte, I'm being generous with the 3 stars. Their banchan was horrible. I'm almost always hungry, so I usually start scarfing down banchan as soon as it comes out. At PePeRo, I hardly touched any of it. Most of their banchan tasted like it had been sitting around for a few days. Their galbi tasted ok, but all of the pieces were small and mostly fatty. Their yook gae jang, though not the most appetizing to look at, was decent and also the only reason I might try this place again if I need to satisfy my Korean food craving.
