  • Right on the strip!!!! Honestly, this hotel is not as bad as what people rate them for...very small casino hotel resort, awful walk ways from the parking garage to the entrance. The casino felt really stuffed and no air circulations. It really smells in the casino area...but I didn't hang in the imperial palace, so it was ok for me. I got sick from this casino though. Must've been the smoke and stuffed air I was inhaling as I was walking in & out from the casino....or the germs I caught from vegas...either way, I remembered imperial palace as the place that gave me the terrible flu that had me at such high fever. Price: Sat was $90, and Sunday was about $45 during the time we went in October...which was such a bargain. As for the room, it's actually clean. It's not chic like monte carlo, but it's clean. If you're not going to spend much time in the hotel, imperial palace is the place. It beats having to go to a motel...I hate motels. Atleast it had approx. 42" LCD plasma t.v which was not bad. $10 for 24 hr internet connection which kept me happy, being able to do work, save money from cheap room, so it allowed me to have more money to spend else where. Pretty spacious as well compared to monte carlo. Their bathroom was very clean as well. The floor and showers were not all that fancy but atleast you don't see any nasty soap scums..sink, shower, hot water, water pressure, everything worked fine. Room service was very fast and nice as well. AC was a bit loud...nothing we could do about it, it was built that way even at LOW, you can hear it on. We were on the higher level room so it was away from all the noises..It had a sliding door and a balcony. It over viewed another casino pool ground that I forgot the name of. very close to everything, that was a major plus for me, and the reason why I settled for this place. Ceasar Palace was right across the street, Harrah's was right next door and many others were in walking distance. I discovered there's a game called war next door as well at a very small casino. I know right war, we played that in like 7th grade. very fun!! Can't remember the name of the hotel next door...remember I got sick during the time there so I couldn't pay much attention. But overall, if you don't plan on spending alot of time in room, imperial is a good choice. they had the smallest bar I've ever seen there, called Geisha room...something like that. So the only two pitfall for me are, the AC being lalittle loud & casino smells heavily with smoke, no air circulation...but you don't sleep in the casino..you sleep in your room, so really it doesn't matter if you're always out.
