  • I'll admit, I was skeptical to get a cut here after reading reviews but I'd already booked an appointment. Upon entrance, I was greeted by the owner. I told him I wanted a trim and he called on one of the girls to help me out. Taylor was friendly and asked a lot of questions to make sure she understood what I wanted. I'd been going for cuts at Maya Hair Salon in the Annex but decided to try somewhere new because the last time I went I left with uneven layers. Taylor noticed my layers were strange and said she would do a few things to fix them. She made them blend together nicely and fixed the random pieces of hair that were longer than they should have been (it literally looked like my last stylist missed some pieces) Best haircut I've ever gotten! I left looking and feeling like a million bucks. I will definitely be returning again and am considering getting colour or highlights in the future. Great service for $30 - you just can't beat it. Side note: I went in at 10am on a Friday. The place was dead. The staff were properly caffeinated. I didn't feel as if anything was rushed. Maybe mornings are the best time to go.
