  • I go to Pawn America just to see what other people are discarding from their lives. One day I was browsing and I saw a Gene Cafe' coffee roaster new-in-box on one of the shelves for $99. I knew immediately this was a $500 roaster because I had been shopping them online the day before. Great bargain. Then I visited my green coffee bean distributor a few days later and found that a pallet of new Gene Cafe' roasters had been jacked from their loading dock the month before. Now if I buy something there I ask if it is hot.
