  • I just don't get it. I have been there twice. First time was about 2 years ago and both my wife and myself thought it was nothing more than average. We thought with all the popularity there must be something great here and were somewhat disappointed so decided to try again. This time was even more of a disappointment. Somewhat of a long wait. Then the food: well if your going there for a standard eggs, bacon, hash browns....you may as well go to Denny's. I'm not sure what they did to the hash browns but they were terrible and tasted nothing like hash browns. As for the price I recall being $9 +. Very expensive for 2 eggs, bacon, nasty has browns and toast. I always like to give a restaurant a second chance so now I am done with Matt's big breakfast. Of course there are many other menu items and based on the crowd they always have, they must be doing something right. I'm just saying that if all your looking for is a standard egg breakfast, this is not the place you want to go.
