| - In a gist: Gregg will take care of you and your car without emptying your wallet.
Before I go any further, I need to say that I have a 1997 Honda Accord with 210,000+ miles that is still on the original clutch and original transmission. It has been in my family since 1998, and still is an incredibly dependable car. But parts do wear out and things need to be fixed.
After some pretty serious issues had a botched fixing at another mechanic this past May, a friend recommended I go to Gregg to have my Honda taken care of properly. Since then, he has taken care of rotors, subsequent gasket leaks (related to the previously mentioned serious issues that the other mechanic screwed up), and general scheduled maintenance. When he gets parts cheaper than expected, his bill to me reflects that. When a process doesn't take as long as expected, his bill reflects that. On my last visit, he changed my air filter without charging me. I didn't even realize he had done this until I took my car in for an oil change and the guy showed me my air filter.
He's honest, trustworthy, a damn good mechanic, and explains things to non-mechanics like me in words that I can actually understand, showing me what he's talking about if necessary. He's the kind of mechanic you include on your Christmas shopping list.
Thank you, Gregg, for everything you do.
