  • This place is huge! I visited this place two months ago and I had a great time. Admission was very affordable and parking was free. Food inside is expensive, which is typical for any zoo but they let you bring your own food and water so you can always take advantage of that. The place is huge with a lot of trails and some hills, it almost feels like you're taking a little hike especially when you enter the "Arizona Trail". It took me almost four hours to go over everything. Some of the trails are dirt so I recommend you wear comfortable closed toe shoes. Some of the enclosures are very, very big which is always nice to see. I really liked this place. I totally recommend going to the Phoenix Zoo.
