Honestly, I feel like I'm ALWAYS on the search for a good primary doctor and dentist. My last dentist would not refer me out to an oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth so of course I decided.. well, it's time to look for another doctor. I found Elite Family Dental on the provider's list for my insurance then on yelp. There aren't many reviews on their office but no doubt.. those couple of reviews are on point! I'm so glad I decided to give this office a try.
I walked into the office with no appointment and they got me set up right away. Got an X-ray for $40 dollars since I knew my insurance wouldn't pay for it. I would say it took about 10 minutes before they called me in.
Got my X-rays done. The dental assistant was really nice and explained my X-rays to me as we were going. I had a lot of questions and she was more than willing to answer them! She was even careful with putting the X-ray piece in my mouth since I have a small mouth.
I waited for 10 minutes until the doctor came which wasn't long. I think my whole appointment took less than an hour.
The doctor was VERY nice!! Probably one of the best and attentive doctors I have seen in a long time. He asked me what was going on and we had a full on conversation. He didn't just ask me something real quick and look at my teeth. We talked and he looked at my teeth then he carefully explained what was going on. After that he asked if I had any questions. He made sure all my questions were answered before he left. Dr. B even sat down and wrote out the referral I needed which is pretty awesome! I'm sure he had other patients to see. He did not rush at all during my appointment.
The staff at Elite Family Dental are really nice and caring. Seems like they are always willing to help! I even made an appointment for my cleaning right on the spot! :) I didn't feel like they diagnosed my conditions based on how much they wanted me to pay. Sadly, my last dentist did that (never going back to Cal Dykes off again).
They also except American Express which is rare.
