  • While the service was great, the food was not. However, for $40 and all the beer and wine you can handle, it is a decent bargain. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't an option without the alcohol, but I guess that's how they balance it all out. For me, it was not worth the price. The quality overall is ok. They had some interesting dishes like the oxtail soup (which wasn't really my thing, but was happy to see something different) and pho, but mostly it was your standard buffet. Apparently for the holiday season, which started today, Dec 18th, they have upped the prices a bit and it's pretty much the full dinner menu, with the included alcohol. I tried the prime rib, and that was actually pretty tasty. The au jus was really flavorful. The crab legs on the other hand were not. I do like that they have them already split, and your choice of steamed or chilled, but the downside was that they were quite thin, very dry, and flavorless. Bummer. They had tempura shrimp that were coated with crisp rice, which kept it crispy, but ended up being over fried and dry. All coating, no shrimp. Everything else was your standard filler. All ok, nothing that stood out as memorable. I should have tried the panang curry, but I never made it back to that section. The desserts were decent. My hubby loved the cream puffs. I thought they were just ok. Sad that the bread pudding, which was heavy on the nutmeg, didn't have vanilla sauce to serve on top. Gelato was a hit with the kiddo. I did like that they had a latte bar. Nothing like a good latte to go with all the sweet stuff. Again, drink lots of beer and wine, and you got yourself a decent buffet. For me, I don't think I'll be back.
