| - Moved to the area, need a new stylist. I have been dying my hair for at least 5 year to be dark brown and my natural is light brown. I no longer want to dye my hair and wanted to go back to my natural color. I called to pull out the color from my hair and go lighter. I show up and everything seemed fine, my stylist was friendly. I tell her I no longer want dark hair, I want to go back to my normal color. My roots are coming through so she can see my natural. She holds the color swatches up to my hair and determines what color. I thought she chose one a little dark and that is not what I wanted so I questioned her choice. She told me that is what color my original color matched. I even showed her a picture of what my hair looked like when it was natural color. Ok, she knows better than I do so I let it go. I told her I was nervous to go back to my roots and that I didn't tell anyone I was doing such a drastic change. She acknowledged my comment and moved on. She prepared something in the back, my thought was it is what was going to pull the color out. Fast forward about 1 hour (color, waiting then rinsing) and I notice the only change is that the color is darker, not lighter. I thought it was maybe going to be a two step process, so I wait. She starts to blow dry my hair and that is when I realized that she misunderstood what I wanted. I mentioned it, told her that is not what I wanted, explained again that I wanted to Ok so my hair is pretty much the same as it was when I went in. Disappointing to say the least but not the end of the world. The main reason why I am giving this review is I was still charged $75. What!?!? I understand some sort of charge but full price? That is crazy. I was not vague in what I wanted, I even questioned her choice in color since I thought we were bleaching then re-dying to something close to my natural color. Before she told me my total we were planning my next visit and how we were going to pull the color out but since they aren't going to make today's visit right, I will not go there again. Bummer since I live down the street.
